Guts multiplies Attack by 1.5× under any status condition. Flame Orb auto-inflicts burn at end of each turn, reliably triggering Guts. Key mechanic: Burn normally halves physical Attack, but Guts overrides that penalty and instead applies the boost — net result is clean 1.5× Attack, not a reduced number.
